Sea cultured pearls
The sea cultured pearls are nacreous and iridescent like the wild pearls . They are produced naturally inside marine oyster shells. In fact, the oysters slowly produce layers of aragonite and conchiolin as a defense against external parasite. At the end of the process, both pearls and thick shell are generated. The entire process takes a bit more than 4 years!
Sea pearls exist in different colors. We have selected ivory, pink and grey-blue pearls for our creations. The grey-blue pearls are the results of a natural and organic treatment where the pearls are being enclosed in an oven with a temperature of more than 1.000 Celsius degrees for 5 weeks.
